There Is Hope

With so many women in america willing to share their stories of domestic violence and narcissistic abuse, you should never feel alone on your path to recovery. Yet due to the constant record playing in our minds with the words of the abuser, sometimes it is hard to see anything clearly. Please don't give up! There is light at the end of the tunnel. Seek out a support group to meet other women who have been where you are. This will show the truth that you are not alone in this world. It may not seem comforting to know that other people have been abused, in a sense, but the comfort is in how they survived it and are moving forward with their lives.

Everyone is not going to understand your story. Just try not to get frustrated with people for not being in your situation. They will never understand, that is a fact. If you have never broken a bone in your body then you just don't know what that feels like. It is the same principle for experiencing narcissistic abuse. Give those people close to you credit for listening and trying.

This journey is all about you. Refinding yourself and loving who you find regardless.
