Another Day

Anyone who has experienced narcissistic abuse can relate to this photograph as a realistic portrayal of how life is seen for a period of time. Whether they are still in the relationship, escaping one, or have made a clean break with no contact. For the first year of freedom, you feel numb. Although life is better, the mind and the body is still trying to comprehend what happened. It takes time to redevelop your senses. No one can be trusted so you alienate everyone to weed out who is the real deal and who is not. Then as the fog clears you realize that you can trust yourself again. And that is okay.

The whole goal of a narcissist is to steal your positive energy for themselves. They have to destroy someone else's life to rebuild their own. Another name for narcissist (if you do the research) is spiritual vampire. Sounds scary enough doesn't it. They don't appear to you with fangs or scary attire, but just the opposite. As if they were your soulmate. Giving you all the desires of your heart until they have you right where they want you and then the abuse starts. Their victims spend valuable time trying to get back the person they thought loved them, but that person was a mask or a cover for the monster within.

I write about this personality type to bring awareness to it. We have only begun to research this issue as a nation within the last 10 to 15 years. After laws were created to prevent physical abuse, the abusers are now using stealthier ways to hurt others. This includes emotional, mental, and spiritual abuse. For the spiritual aspect, research the leviathan, jezebel, ahab, and baal spirits and see what you overturn. Remember people are free to choose who they are.

I choose to be victorious!
